The perfect diet to have good physic as software engineer

As someone who has been involved in sports from a young age, I’ve learned that a sustainable lifestyle beats “over-training” every time. In athletics, you can’t work out for more than 1–2 hours without hitting diminishing returns. I’ve applied this same logic to software engineering: I’ve learned how to train and eat optimally to maintain a healthy mind and body while having good physic.

1. The Power Breakfast (The “Deep Work” Fuel)

My first meal is designed to fuel the brain for complex problem-solving without the mid-morning “crash.”

  • The Protein Base: Always eggs paired with a high volume of Greek yogurt (around 350g).
  • The Carbs: 2–3 slices of protein bread to provide steady energy.
  • The Fresh Touch: One fresh tomato.
  • The Result: This meal easily provides 50g+ of protein and essential healthy fats. It keeps your mind sharp, allowing you to tackle the most difficult bugs without feeling sluggish.

2. The High-Performance Lunch

Consistency is key, even when the sprint is busy.

  • The Choice: I prioritize high-protein meats. If I’m busy, a quality chicken burger or steak is my go-to.
  • Weight Management: If the goal is to lean down, I opt for chicken wraps or tortillas.

3. The Workout Supplement

For those hitting the gym, timing is everything.

  • The Boost: A protein shake either before or after your session.
  • The Fuel: Mix in a few scoops of oats with your protein to replenish glycogen levels and aid recovery.

4. The “Sleep-Ready” Dinner

When the schedule is packed, dinner should be simple, effective, and designed for rest.

  • Option A (The Sweet Recovery): A bowl of Greek yogurt mixed with jam, served with 2–3 slices of protein bread. This combination provides the right amount of carbs and protein to help you drift off to sleep easily while your body recovers.
  • Option B (The Quick Fix): If ordering out, prioritize chicken burgers, or have a bowl of oats with protein.

My Philosophy:

I don’t believe in training all day; I believe in training smart. By fueling my body correctly—especially with high-protein staples and timed carbs—I ensure my brain has the “bandwidth” to perform at a Lead Developer level every single day.
